HELP US SUSTAIN THE FUTURE
West Virginia's Brooke Hills Park serves over 25,000 visitors per year. Formerly known as “Happy Hills Farm”, the Gist Family willed 750 acres to the county.

The
Brooke County Parks and Recreation Commission is responsible for directing the resources of the park.
The Commission is composed of men and women who diligently work to preserve, expand, and creatively utilize the natural assets of the park to benefit county residents and visitors to our state.
A large volunteer base and small staff work together with community partners and sponsors to cater to the interests of individuals, families, and employers seeking educational, historical, sporting, therapeutic, horticultural, social, and recreational outlets.

Memorial Gifts
A gift made in honor of or in memory of a loved one is a
meaningful way to make a tribute or to celebrate
holidays, recognize achievements, or acknowledge special
occasions such as anniversaries and birthdays. We do not
disclose the amount of the gift. You will receive a
written acknowledgement of your gift.
Matching Gifts
You can increase the value of your contribution through
a matching gift from your employer. Many employers match
gifts made by employees, officers, directors, and in
some cases, spouses/partners and retired employees,
officers, or directors. By taking advantage of a
matching gift program, you will increase the amount of
support. Here's how to make a matching gift:
• Check with your employer’s personnel department to
find out about its matching gift policy.
• Ask your employer for a form to notify us of your
contribution.
• We will verify your gift and return the form to your
company, which will then issue a matching gift
contribution to Brooke Hills Park in your name.
